Welcome Back Roadrunner Families!

On behalf of the Marylin Avenue STEAM Academy PTO (MASA PTO), I would like to wish all of our Roadrunners a wonderful year of fun, learning and pride in the 2025/2026 school year. Your MASA PTO is committed to safely providing school-wide programs and fun community events while enhancing the experience of our students and families.

2024/2025 was a successful year for our PTO. Through various fundraising efforts, we raised approximately $67,000 all directly benefiting our students, families and staff. Here are a few highlights where the funds were distributed:

• Classroom and Staff funds for direct student benefit

• Field Trips

• School-wide Garden Art installation

• Spring Festival & Art supplies

• Family Fun Nights & In-School Events

• Student Rewards

• Teacher/Staff Appreciation

We are continuing to fund raise for this school year, and that starts with the Roadrunner Run (RR). This is our largest fundraiser of the year and the event is just around the corner. Please keep an eye out for more information about this event, and remember to sign up your student(s) on the fundraising platform, Pledgestar. Every dollar raised helps current students and staff, as well as future students who will attend MASA.

The PTO has a powerful voice for all of the students at MASA. We are advocates for the education and well-being of every child. Every student matters! I encourage you to join our monthly PTO meetings to help us plan fundraisers, determine where funds should be allocated, prepare for in-school activities, and enjoy these elementary school years with your children. We would love to have you on a committee or as a volunteer at any of our events.
